Yesterday I spent about 18 hours trying to design some business cards.
But first – Breakfast
My biggest dilemma was about including a picture on the card. Should I just put my blog banner and be done? Or should I do a collage of three pictures that tell the story of my blog? Or should I just do a headshot?
In the end, I decided to do words and graphics because I am going to print these myself so the quality is not going to be able to handle a photograph.
The reason for all this madness and need for cards for my blog, is I am attending
My first Blogger Conference!
It’s a two day conference this weekend in Kansas City and I am excited (and nervous).
Besides obsessing over business cards, I went to yoga.
We began the class with lying on our backs and clearing chakras. I love when we do this. The above picture is in my planner as a daily reminder.
Back at home, I fixed smoothies for Justin and I and we enjoyed them in the sunshine.
I was pretty pumped for the next meal: BRUSSELS SPROUT SALAD! This one had shredded brussels sprouts, kale, broccoli slaw, sliced pepperoncini, black olives, sunflower seeds, chicken and Newman’s Own oil and vinegar dressing.
The dreaded 3 o’clock trip to snack town was curbed with a bowl of fruit! (strawberries, black grapes and banana)
Dinner was another salad this time with ground turkey and bacon!
Oh man, I love that dang salad.
Gotta go! I have been up since 5:30am and am now running late for getting everyone up around here!
