Himalayan Salt Lamp

Yesterday morning started with a super sweaty spin class.

It felt so good.  It was one of those days where my body and mind were firing with the same endurance and energy level.

I felt good the whole class and really pushed myself.

Back at home, I got busy making

I had high hopes for my day being productive because I was filled with so much energy after that spin class.  But, ended up getting sucked into my computer, crocheting a couple infinity scarves and watching the Royals.

My meals were pretty boring the rest of the day.

LUNCH – Left over steak and veggies from the night before

DINNER – Baked potato and chili from Wendy’s.

Oh! Check this out!

Himalayan Salt Lamp

Our doctor’s office has one of these in every room.

From what I read, with all the electronics we use, we are surrounded with positive ions which lower our energy levels, making us feel tired and depressed.  The salt lamps, when heated, create moisture, which evaporates and emits negative ions.  Negative ions are supposed to benefit our respiratory system and increase energy levels.

So these lamps are supposed to help balance the positive and negative ions in our air.

What the heck, it’s worth a try.  We have a client with respiratory issues and this time of year always brings depressed energy levels.  With a lot of electronics in this house, balancing some ions could benefit everyone!

Plus, they’re pretty!

We purchased ours from Amazon.
