Dark and Early

Yesterday started bright dark and early at the track with a couple of girlfriends.

5:30am to be exact.

We ran stairs and did 400 meter lunges until 7am!  An hour and an half goes so fast when you are having fun!

Back at home, Justin and I got everyone ready for the day in their Halloween costumes!  They all looked so good.  We were pretty proud of ourselves.

Meal #1: Gluten free oats with protein

Meal #2: Gluten free toast with peanut butter

Meal #3: Chicken breast, black beans, salsa fresca, stir fry veggies

Meal #4: Egg whites with left over stir fry veggies and black olives

Meal #5: Vanilla greek yogurt with gluten free peanut butter granola.

This was NOT what my last meal was supposed to be, but I got snacky.  It’s that time of month and I wanted to grab some chips and go to town.  Justin said if I ate chips I had to post it on my blog.  I shot back with something highly intelligent, I’m sure, and then pouted off to the kitchen. Where I grabbed a yogurt and some gluten free peanut butter granola instead. hmphf.

We did not pass out candy this year.  We turned our lights out and tucked in.  I was fighting to keep my eyes open at 8:30pm (again)!  Poor Justin.  My body is adjusting to being back on plan and that is leaving me very sleepy earlier than usual.

It’s November 1st!

See you tomorrow.

  1. First off...I love your blog! I read it every day. Second, the lady that you are working with training for your competition, does she do meal plans? I'm getting plenty of exercise but I need someone to put some meals together for me...

    1. Well, THANK YOU, anonymous! ha! Yes, Diana does meal plans. Hitch Fit is the full deal...nutrition and exercise!

  2. yay track workout at dawn!!!!!!!!

  3. good for you for opting for the yogurt instead of the chips!
I did that last night. I got home from work (from my 2nd job) and wanted to eat chips and bread and yumminess, but i grabbed some greek yogurt and mixed in some chocolate protein and a little peanut butter!!! :)

Good for you, keep it up!!! We are gonna get lean!
