Yesterday started off bright early during the 4 o’clock hour. I just love this time of the day.
Justin played golf with his Dad and I spent the day getting caught up on paperwork for a meeting I had yesterday afternoon and picking up around the house.
I also finished up book #3 in the Play by Play series by Jaci Burton.
This was a fun series to read. Each book is pretty short, so reading all three back to back was like reading one book.
Workout
Sometime after 6am, I laced up my shoes and hit the streets for a run. I was a little over two miles in before all the crap food I have been eating caught up with me and I started cramping. I ran home, leashed up the girls and walked it off.
Meals
Meal #1: Chobani plain with a honey drizzle, Udi’s gluten free granola and a peach
Meal #2: Pancakes (1/2 cup gluten free oats, enough liquid egg whites to make the batter the consistency I wanted and a cup of Chobani apple cinnamon yogurt) with a side of grapes
Meal #3: Brown rice with peas and carrots and a chicken breast. I added a couple of splashes of tamari.
Meal #4: I kind of fell apart around 3pm (imagine that). I grabbed for some chips and ate on those while I was reading. I finally snapped out of that and fixed myself half of a chicken breast and some grapes.
Meal #5: I wasn’t really hungry after the snack fest at 3pm, so I ended up eating popcorn for dinner!
It’s 5:30am and already getting light outside!
I love summer!
that last pic is hilarious. hope you arent wearing chambray to work out!

ReplyDeleteSnack foods are so much more tempting at that time! Who wants to snack on a chicken breast while reading? lol!
