Back to Work

Yesterday was all about getting back on track after my long birthday celebration.  I already feel lighter and my head is clearer after just one day of eating better and drinking lots of water.


Last week was my birthday week off, so yesterday was my first day back to work!


It felt like Monday all day, but we managed to get ourselves organized and make a grocery store run.  It felt good to get back to our routine.



Well, kind of a workout….I was moving anyway.

After getting everyone up and on their way, we leashed up the girls and went for a walk.


We all needed to get our bodies moving again! I did nothing during my birthday week off, so it felt good to get out and move!


Meal #1: Chobani plain yogurt, Udi’s gluten free granola, a peach (I drizzled some honey on it after I took the picture)


Meal #2: Shake: 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 frozen banana, 1/2 cup frozen strawberries, large handful spinach


Meal #3: Brown rice with peas and carrots, two whole eggs


Meal #4: We headed outside for some grillin’ for the last meal. Chicken, mushrooms, onions, red bell peppers, zucchini.


Oh man, it was seriously good!

We tucked in for the night and watched Hell’s Kitchen and Master Chef.  Well, we watched a little of Hell’s Kitchen. Does it stress anyone else out to watch Hell’s Kitchen? So much yelling!  Justin and I both start to feel all panicked and nervous for those cooks.


That was our Tuesday! Hope everyone is having a great week!
