It’s Monday!
We had a great weekend! Hope you did too.
Saturday
I started the day by heading to the Farmer’s Market. It was opening day!
There were maybe seven farmers there and not too much to choose from, but there’s just not a lot to sell in April in Kansas City!
I purchased some eggs, honey, asparagus and sweet potatoes.
Justin played golf with his Dad and I just watched movies and did stuff around the house.
Saturday Eats
Meal #1: Egg sandwich: Rudi’s gluten free bread, two eggs, two canadian bacon
Meal #2: Rudi’s gluten free bread, natural peanut butter, honey, banana
Meal #3: Chicken sausage with mustard and aspargus
Meal #4: Wendy’s: Burger, fries, Frosty (I didn’t get a picture!)
Sunday
I started the day with an hour of cardio.
- 30 minutes on the elliptical
- 30 minutes on the spin bike
It was pouring down rain in the morning so no outside running.
After cardio and breakfast, I made a grocery store run so I can get some food prepped for the week.
Sunday Eats:
Meal #1: Oats with protein and a banana
Meal #2: Egg sandwich: Rudi’s gluten free bread with two whole eggs
Meal #3: Gluten free angel hair pasta, cream of broccoli soup, extra broccoli, grape tomatoes. It was NOT good. Too much soup. Cooked the angel hair pasta too long. It was a pile of mush. Yuck. (I still ate it!)
Meal #4: Grilled some chicken and veggies
We wrapped up our weekend with some TV: Amazing Race, Game of Thrones (or something like that…it’s Justin’s show) and Celebrity Apprentice.
