Did everyone change their clocks this morning?
It used to be such a big deal to NOT forget to change my clocks, but now with cable boxes and cell phones that do it for me, I never have to worry about forgetting!
Yesterday was my younger sister, Vann’s, moving day! Her and her husband, Matt, bought their first beeeeautiful home!
I am so excited for them!
We got there a couple of minutes before they arrived so I got a picture of them pulling in with the U-Haul and two pickups following behind full of their belongings and family that came to help!
This was one of those moments when I know I am getting old because I felt so proud and so excited that I teared up for them!
There were 11 people there to help, so we had those trucks unloaded in no time and enjoyed chatting and soaking up the beautiful day.
They couldn’t have picked a better day to move. It was absolutely gorgeous.
I can’t wait to go back soon and see how they have set up their house!
Meals:
Meal #1: Oats with chocolate protein powder
Meal #2: Protein pancakes and an apple (on the road)
Meal #3: Vann and Matt bought pizza and hot wings for everyone and I joined in. I also ate TWO COOKIES! Without thinking I ate a cookie and then was like…Noooo, Stacy, you are not eating sugar today. Then the next time I walked by the container of homemade chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips I ate ANOTHER! Dang it! Mindless eating!
Meal #4: Blue Koi. On our way home, since we were out by it and haven’t eaten there in forever, we stopped in at Blue Koi. It’s a dumpling and noodle place and sooooo good! We had the Tofu and Awesome Sauce.
We also shared Pork Dumplings
and Basil Ginger Chicken with brown rice noodles (we ended up taking most of this home because no matter how much we kept eating, that bowl was not going anywhere!).
It was a great day and I was fighting to keep my eyes open around 8pm!
I’m off to practice my pliĆ©s , I have ballet class tomorrow!
How exciting! The house is beautiful & it is soooo wonderful to have help! Love the foodie pics ! I am all about those dumplings!
