Day Off

Sorry you wasted the extra hour of daylight savings trying to figure out if you gained an hour.

I was so afraid I was going to sleep in and miss Title Boxing but I didn’t!  I woke up at 4am just like I wanted! Now I’m on my second cup of coffee and ready to get this week started!

We sleep with our TV on and I woke up to an Insanity infomercial and, I must say, that is a good way to wake up.  It really motivated me to get my fanny out of bed and get moving!

Yesterday was a nice, relaxing day.  It was my day off.  Have I told you guys about our days off?  Each month, Justin and I give each other one day off around the date of our birthday.  So, around the 8th of each month, I get the day off! And then for our actual birthday, we give each other an entire WEEK off!  It’s a pretty big deal!

I talked to my Grandma on the phone for hours, crocheted and took a nap. It was glorious!

  1. That is so funny about daylight savings. I live in Arizona and still have issues with Daylight savings even though we do not participate in it. Probably because I deal with east coast/west coast folks and my family up in Washington....

    Pancakes look yummy and so does that chili! Nom, nom, nom!!!

    1. Oh gosh, I forget about the people that don't have to participate. I bet that is super weird then to have to work with others that are all of a sudden on a different hour!

    1. Thank you, Mary! If you click on the words "protein pancake" it will take you to the recipe. The past couple of times I have made them, though, I have been using real eggs instead of eggs from a carton and only using 1/2 cup instead of 3/4 of a cup and they come out thicker. I'm loving them that way!
