Yesterday started at 4:07am! I woke up full of energy and couldn’t wait to get my first cup of coffee. I love coffee. Sometimes I can’t wait to go to sleep at night because I want it to be morning so I can have a cup of coffee!
Workout
After some coffee, and cleaning the kitchen, starting the laundry and blogging (I’m tellin’ ya, I woke up with some energy!), I headed out the door to title boxing.
Here is Cisco and me after class. The purple face and crazy hair (and there’s a head band in that mess some where!) says it all….it was brutal! There wasn’t a dry spot on my shirt. Definitely one of those classes where I had to gather myself for a minute before driving home. My arms were shaking so bad it was even hard to take that picture!
One of local news stations did a story about him and it definitely brought more people in to class yesterday morning and he was fired up! It was great!
After getting everyone up and on their way for the day, I headed downstairs and lifted some weights.
I did the following upper body workout (I did the first group in a circuit three times, rested, then moved onto the next, etc):
Meals:
Meal #1: Protein Pancakes (3/4 cup egg whites, 1/2 cup gluten free oats ground into flour, sprinkle of cinnamon to taste). I ate them plan. With my hands.
Meal #2: Egg whites, Rudy’s gluten free toast with butter, Cutie
Meal #3: Brown rice noodles (drizzled with olive oil and seasoned with Mrs. Dash garlic and herb), chicken, roasted broccoli
Meal #4: Chobani peach yogurt with Udie’s gluten free granola
Meal #5: Chicken sausage, brown rice noodles, roasted broccoli
We wrapped up the day with a little TV. SURVIVOR started! Oh my goodness, this season is starting out to be a mess. The girls are screwed if they don’t calm down and start planning ahead. I think I’ve said this before, but if you turn in an application for Survivor, you better start learning to build a fire. Anyone that goes on that show and doesn’t know how to start a fire is an idiot.
I am definitely having fun with my new iPhone.
Hope you all have a great Thursday. It’s almost the weekend!
oh coffee! how i miss it!give me a few more months,a few sleepless nights with the new baby and im know i will be a coffee addict.....again!
ReplyDeleteglad you enjoyed your boxing class and once again, the food pics look yumm-o!
enjoy your day (have an extra cup of joe for me please!)
:D
When you do want coffee again, think about a Keurig! Makes just one cup at a time (super fast) so you don't have to commit to a whole pot! ha! I drank a butter toffee cup for you this morning. No big deal.
DeleteI feel the same way about coffee! LOVE going to sleep knowing that soon it will be coffee time :)
ReplyDeleteFirst cup of the day = total bliss!!
You are killing it girl...and inspiring me too!
Thanks! I feel good!
DeleteI heart coffee TOO! AND, I love love love my Keurig! Fast and I don't waste what I once was wasting by making a pot for myself and only drinking half!
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly why I love it too! Plus I can have various flavors whenever I want! Sending you healing thoughts, Lisa! Joints are the hardest part about getting older. I need to remember to take a joint supplement. I am so bad about it.
DeleteYour food always looks so good and boy the "kids" look happy and cozy!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
