If you read my post from yesterday, you know we had a snow day!
A day to stay snuggled in our jammies and take pictures of the dogs, of course!
Before I played outside with the girls, I got myself downstairs to the weight room!
Workout
It was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be! I did the first circuit 8 times, the second 4 times and the third 2 times! When you look at the exercises for the third, you are going to think….only twice, really?…..by the time I got there I was a mess! ha!
So, here is where I am, right now. It’s kind of hard to post this picture, because it’s exactly where I was last year at this time. Starting over isn’t fun, but it is what it is. My plan is to get myself down to within 10lbs of my stage weight and then I will start a prep. Hopefully in time to do a fall show. I am not going into prep at this size it was just too hard on my body and hormones last year. And I set myself up for a crash and binge when the show and training was over. Even though I didn’t think I was doing that…I thought I had a plan. I think around October/November I lost my routine and oomphf and my motivation went down as the scale went up!
I’m healthy and normal, just not where I want to be (in my jeans)!
Meals
Meal #1: oats with protein powder and a banana
Meal #2: Egg whites with gluten free toast
and some pineapple
Meal #3: Salad (green leaf lettuce, red onion, broccoli, cucumber, red bell pepper, black and green olives, canadian bacon, Newman’s Own Oil & Vinegar dressing) with some crackers
Meal #4: Gluten free toast with peanut butter
Meal #5: Chicken breast (seasoned with Mrs. Dash Table Blend) and BBQ Sauce with a side of roasted green beans
Gosh, I love roasted green beans! Good thing I bought a bag the size of a small suit case at Sam’s because Justin loves them too! When he first saw the bag in the freezer, he was like, who buys a bag this size of green beans? Ha! Evidently, WE DO!
Oh, I almost forgot!
I got my iPhone yesterday! See you later RAZR!!
Sara loves her opossum toy.
YAY for your iphone! I love mine. Anyway, you are still ridiculously adorable. You have a great plan and I have no doubt you'll get it done!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lisa! Hope your marathon training is still going well. Thinking about you doing long runs motivates me to do cardio!
DeleteYou look GREAT!!! I wish I looked that cute after a workout! Love the snow pics with the dogs. They are having so much fun!
ReplyDeleteYou know, we are our worst critics, but thank you for the kind words!
DeleteHaving a plan is so important...which is probably why I need to get one pronto :)
ReplyDeleteWhat show have you decided on?
T.
There is a September show in Kansas City, I can't remember the name of it right now, though. I think it's the Gold's Classic, or something like that. (Really have that goal nailed down, don't I?!)
Deleteyay you got a white one! same one as me :)
ReplyDeletei love your hair curly!
Thanks, Vann! That mess was still left over from Evan's birthday! Yikes! Yes, the white one! Now I need a fun case.
DeleteOMG OMG! I'm so excited that you're thinking of doing another show! Yay! I love following your blog when you're in prep--it kinda calms my nerves when I'm going through the same thing :) I have the white iphone too! Words with friends buddies??
ReplyDeleteThanks Liza! I feel the same way about reading blogs of others going through prep when I am too. It is comforting on those days when you feel like you might lose it knowing there are others about to lose it too! ha!
