Weekend Stuff

I’m sorry I left you hanging yesterday with no post.  I started not feeling good again!?  What is happening?!

Saturday started with some oats with protein powder and then some cardio at the gym.  I did 30 minutes on the AMT with the resistance set to 20 and then 30 minutes of incline walking/jogging on the treadmill.

Meal #2: Egg white and veggie scramble

We did a wine tasting at Wines by Jennifer before meeting Justin’s step brother, Aaron, and his girlfriend Patty for dinner.

Entrée at dinner was pepper crusted beef medallions with mashed potatoes and veggies.

Sunday was pretty uneventful because it’s when I started NOT FEELING GOOD AGAIN!  This time it’s all in my sinuses and draining.  I think it’s this crazy weather we are having (or because I was in that doctor’s office on Friday…or that I went to the gym Saturday morning…germs are EVERYWHERE!)   I don’t usually have allergies but I think the fluctuation in pressure is affecting me.  We had thunderstorms last night.  Weird.

Breakfast yesterday morning was egg whites with Canadian bacon, gluten free toast and a Cutie.

Then I made this strawberry pecan bread.  The only change I made to it was using Chobani’s Vanilla Greek Yogurt instead of the sour cream.  Oh and I also added a handful of white chocolate chips.

  1. OH MY GOSH that bread looks incredible! YUM! Sound like you had a fun weekend. Your blog always makes me hungry! Your food looks so yummy! I need to get more creative, olives in an egg scramble? I am all over that ;)

    1. Ummmm...the bread was delicious and since it includes strawberries and yogurt it's practically a granola bar which means it's healthy. Black olives in egg scramble tastes like pizza!
