We welcomed Winter back yesterday and our normal routine. It was super cold. I think it was 15 degrees when I woke up.
Jump back!
I didn’t even want to leave the house to go to Title Boxing or the gym in those temps so I retreated to our home gym.
Workout
I hopped on the treadmill and did incline walking for 10 minutes, jogging for 10 minutes and then more incline walking and regular walking for the last 10 minutes. Man, incline walking kicks my butt and our treadmill only goes to 10%!
Then, I headed into the weight room where I did the following:
3 sets, 8-10 reps
- Squats off a step with weighted bar
- Dumb bell bench press
- Bent over rows
- Biceps curls with dumb bells
- French press
- Ryan’s shoulder move
1 set, no weights
- Step ups – 15 reps each leg
- Step downs with knee up – could only do 10 each side of these
I was going to do Diana’s leg workout and then decided to do full body once I got down there.
I did the squats off the step and the step downs that she does in the video.
Meals:
Meal #1: Gluten Free Oats with protein powder
Meal #2: Chobani Vanilla, Udi’s Granola
Meal #3: We went to a Café/Deli that we had never been to before. The Gluten Free/Dairy Free choices were minimal. (Dairy issues: I can eat that amout of Feta cheese and the above yogurt, but can’t eat a cream based soup…weirdo, I know) I had a Greek salad with chili, which I ate half of because it was a tad too spicy, so Justin ended up eating the rest.
Meal #4: Stir fry veggies with ground chicken
Meal #5: Two tacos (lean ground beef, lettuce, taco sauce, black olives) and then, two more!
I also snacked on gluten free crackers, pretzels, and Cuties throughout the day.
We did some massive grocery shopping yesterday, so we are loaded up on veggies, lean meats, fruits, and complex carbs. No excuses!!
Brr, winter is back! We're lovin' your addiction to Chobani in your daily eats-- please feel free to send me an email at lindsay(dot)kos(at)chobani(dot)com and I'll send ya a special thanks for being a fan :)
