Yesterday’s Workout
I started yesterday off with the following upper body workout as my legs were so sore from that Body Pump class I took with a friend.
20 minute warm up on elliptical: 5 minutes no incline, 10 minutes incline set at 20, 5 minutes no incline.
- 3 sets: assisted pull ups and lat pull downs (yes, I now realize I basically did the same exercise two ways, doh!)
- 30 seconds burpees
- 3 sets: hammer curls and wide grip curls with easy bar
- 30 seconds: mountain climbers
- 3 sets: chest press and chest fly
- 30 seconds: jumping jacks
- 3 sets: triceps cable push downs and body weight dips
- 30 seconds high knees
- 1 minute each side of Ryan’s shoulder move
Yesterday’s Meals
Meal #1: Oats with protein out of an empty peanut butter jar
I headed out and did some shopping until around noon when Justin called and mentioned lunch. I hadn’t even realized it but I was STARVING!
Meal #2: One taco with Beans and Chips and Salsa
Justin and I did some more shopping and then headed home to get ready for our first Christmas party.
After doing a wine tasting at Wines by Jennifer we headed over to my Mom’s for a fun get together. We always have lots of appetizers and goodies to graze on all night.
I love this time of year.
Lots of family time.
And we do a white elephant gift exchange.
In our version, the person who gets the Ace picks the first gift to unwrap and then at the end gets their choice of ALL the gifts that have been opened. Autumn was the lucky ace holder this year!
And, of course, we took our annual group picture!
