Yesterday started off with a walk with my three favorite girls!
Then I took off for my run. I didn’t leave myself much time, so I got in a quick 2 miles and then headed home to get everyone up and around for the day.
Meal #1: Chobani Vanilla Green Yogurt, Udi’s granola, banana
Brutis was thinking we might want to try some of that yogurt bowl.
Not a chance, buddy!
After my food settled, I headed downstairs to lift weights.
I started with 20 minutes on the elliptical.
3 sets of the following:
- Standing cable flys
- Assisted pull ups
- Concentration curls
- Dips
- 1 minute of step ups with knee raise (no weight)
I ended with another 20 minutes on the elliptical.
Meal #2: Egg whites with a gluten free english muffin with butter
I had big plans to get chores done yesterday but I was beat. I didn’t feel like doing anything!
Meal #3: Turkey italian sausage, brown rice noodles, roasted petite brussel sprouts
I laid around inside.

Meal #4: protein powder, peanut butter, granola
Everyone needs to grab a bowl and make this right now. It is sooooo good.
Look at all that chocolatey gooie-ness! It was even better today since I ate it while the granola was still crunchy!
Oh. My. Goodness.
Go eat it!
Meal #5: Ground turkey with mustard, roasted petite brussel sprouts.
I settled in for the evening and watched No Strings Attached. I really liked it! A typical feel good love story. My kind of movie!
