Yesterday started with an awesome 5 mile run. It was a cool 76 degrees here with 86% humidity! I actually don’t mind the humidity when the temp is that low. I felt like I could run forever. After taking the girls for their walk, I whipped myself up some protein ice cream. We all know it’s just a thick smoothie, but I like to think that I am having ice cream for breakfast!
Last night was the bachelorette party for Diana and we were instructed to wear black shorts (or pants) and a black top. I didn’t have any black shorts, so I headed out to find some. Do you know how hard it is to find the perfect pair of black shorts when you are LOOKING for them?! After going to several stores, I finally found a pair at Dillard’s.
Then it was time for lunch. Sushi!
I had the sushi/sashimi bento box and two pieces of a Rock n Roll roll that Justin ordered:
We had to hit up the grocery store before heading home (imagine that!). Then it was time to get ready for the night! I had arranged to have my makeup done by the same girl that did it for the competition. It was so fun. I’m bummed that I didn’t get a picture of her doing it, but she did an awesome job!
Bachelorette party time! The whole night was themed after one of Diana’s favorite movies, Twilight. Her sister got these two cardboard cut outs and we carried them around all night. It was pretty funny!
For dinner, I had the walnut/pear salad with a chicken breast. It was delicious and I practically licked my plate!
After dinner, we all loaded up on a trolley and hit the town! It was so fun. We had music playing and lots of laughter!
I was so glad to be a part of this special night for Diana. I can’t wait to see her walk down the aisle on Saturday!
It looks like a fabulous time ! : ) saw some of the pictures of Facebook too : )
