Summer Day

Yesterday was a great day!  The weather was so beautiful!  I took the girls for their morning walk.  The leash situation for three dogs is kind of tricky, but we make it.  I started the day with a yogurt bowl for some energy!

Then it was time for Title Boxing.  Holy Cow! He kicked our butts!  He started the class by taking us outside. We jogged, sprinted and then he added in some hill sprints for fun! I was dying and we had only just begun!  I love that class!  I have to peel my soaking wet clothes off my body when I get home and I love that.  I feel like I have accomplished something.

I was starving when I got home, so I powered down an egg white/Canadian bacon sandwich on a gluten free English muffin

My body was burning through calories yesterday because I was hungry ALL. DAY. LONG.

Next up was a salad and sweet potato chips.  I snacked on some gluten free pretzels with hummus while they cooked.

  • red bell pepper
  • cucumber
  • onion

Welcome back my sweet little pieces of deliciousness!  I haven’t had a craving for these since competition prep.  They tasted so good yesterday.

I spent a lot of the afternoon going between laying on the deck in the sun and laying in the screened in porch.  It was just a perfect summer day here!  I am so glad we bought the regular size sofa for the porch because I took a pretty awesome nap on it yesterday (a couple of times!).

My belly woke me up and I ate an orange sorbet bar and a bowl of gluten free cereal:

We had a break through with Katy and Sara yesterday.

(I finally noticed the “watermark” feature in Live Writer! Now I don’t have to go to Picnik to add text to a picture every time!)

For dinner, I fixed salmon and brussel sprouts (peas for Justin).  While the brussel sprouts cooked, we ate some left over hill billy chips and cheese.  I should have just drank some water.

Dinner was good though.  I spent more time in the screened in porch during the evening reading.  It was glorious!

Today is supposed to be another beautiful summer day.  I am going to get my blow up pool set up and park myself on a raft in the middle of it!  Right after I walk the dogs, run,  go to the Farmer’s Market and visit my StepMom!  I better get busy!

Happy Saturday Friends!
