Roast, Potatoes, Carrots

Okay, so, I’m sure everyone has eaten this meal before and probably even cooked it.  But, maybe everyone does it a little different, so here is how I make roast, potatoes and carrots.

Step 1: Clean potatoes (I used fingerling and red potatoes this time).

Step 2: Cut up any large potatoes so everything is about the same size and will cook evenly.  Place in bottom of crock pot.

Step 3: Dump a small bag of baby carrots on top of potatoes.

Step 4: Slice one whole onion and layer half of it on top of the carrots.

Step 5: Salt and Pepper your meat of choice and place on top of the bed of onions (I used a boneless chuck roast), then put the rest of your onion slices on and around your meat.

Step 6: Pour 8 oz of water around the side of your meat.  Put lid on crockpot and set for 10 hours.

Now settle in and enjoy the aroma that will now fill your house for the next 10 hours!
