Holy Moly! Yesterday was Rough, with a capital R! I did my morning cardio and then felt like I had been hit by a truck the rest of the day. I ate way too many almonds and chewed a ton of gum. I felt nauseous and tired most of the day. I’m pretty sure I was asleep by 9:30pm.
Justin played golf so he was gone most of the day. I blame him. I rely on him to keep me focused (and out of the almonds) on a minute by minute basis. I was left alone, tired and hungry. It’s his fault.
It turned out to be a gorgeous day here. Started off chilly so I retreated to my treadmill for the hour of fasted cardio but then the sun came out and it was beautiful. Too bad I stuck my fanny in the recliner for the day and didn’t enjoy a minute of it.
The “kids” enjoyed it though! You can tell Brutis is the boss. When he walks in, the girls pay attention. He likes to hit them in the legs when they run by, so they keep a close eye him!
I did actually get a couple of things done yesterday. I cooked up a whole bag of tilapia, did laundry, cleaned up our bedroom (we live like teenagers!) and then waited patiently for Justin to get home so I could start whining and he could feel sorry for me!
Workouts:

I am feeling great this morning. Ready to get after it today! I’ve got morning cardio, appointments with my group home clients, weights, and the cardio class at the karate school tonight!

ReplyDeleteAmanda, on low carb days, I eat 4.5 oz of fish with asparagus or brussel sprouts for three of my meals.
ReplyDeleteok question your protein looks so good and gooey! whats i called and where can I get some?
ReplyDeleteA Fine Balalnce: I just buy the big bags of Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard from www.bodybuilding.com, but I mix it with barely any water until it is the consistency of peanut butter! I literally just drizzle little bits of water in at a time and then stir, stir, stir. It doesn't take much. Soooo good!!
