12 Days Out

Good Monday Morning!  I awoke at 5am and am ready to get this week started.  This is the last week of training hard before going into comp week.  I am ready.

Mother’s Day was fun.  We headed over to my Mom’s house around Noon.  They ate pizza, I ate this:

I ran out of asparagus, so yesterday was brussel sprouts and green beans.

I was really tired and weepy yesterday morning.  When the tears started to come, Justin just wrapped me in his arms while I cried into chest.  I was crying about silly things, like where are my abs and why won’t this last bit of fat get off my ass and why do I always pick goals that leave me crying when I am close to reaching them?!  Good thing his hugs can make any negative feelings vanish!  I got it out, let it go and got on with the rest of my day.


  • Morning cardio: 5 mile run
  • Weights: Quads at home
  • Round 2 cardio: 60 minutes on elliptical while watching Amazing Race


Meal #1: Egg whites

Meal #2: Oats with protein

Meal #3: Tilapia and brussel sprouts

Meal #4: Tilapia and brussel sprouts

Meal #5: Tilapia and green beans

I have a feeling the next two weeks are going to go by in a big blur.  I am tired, mentally and physically. I am having to write anything down that I need to remember or it will be forgotton!  I am excited and nervous!  I feel like I have a lot to do before the show.  I am going to pack my bag this week, get a facial, a hair cut , a manicure and a pedicure.  Next week will be waxing and then of course tanning.

Any recommendations of what to pack are welcome!  I have a couple of lists from other girl’s blogs that I am going by and then of course my trainer has given me a list!  I am packing EVERYTHING! I can not be too prepared!  The more stuff I have the less stressed I will be about the “what if”!!
