66 Days Out

Man, yesterday I worked my butt off!  It was my third low carb day in a row and I could feel it!  I was kind of spacy and even now it’s a little hard to concentrate and come up with something to post! ha!  Today is a high carb day so hello sweet potatoes! yes!  I didn’t take any pictures AGAIN!  This girl needs some carbs!  I will have more focused today and take pictures!

I started the day off with an hour on the elliptical.  I bumped the incline all the way up and set the resistance at a medium level.  After doing my morning group home jobs around here, and eating a bowl of oats with protein powder, I headed to the warehouse.  We did lots of back and a little quads but the worst part was at the end.  We had to hop on the treadmill and burn 500 calories!  By the time I left, I felt like I had nothing left.  I was exhausted.

I ate some egg whites when I got home because I only had one more meal with carbs and I wanted to save that for after my next workout.  Justin and I headed downstairs and I did a weak shoulder workout.  I was nauseous for most of it and really drained.  We went straight into an Insanity cardio DVD and about a quarter of the way in, I started getting some energy back.  I finished out the DVD strong and drenched in sweat.  I was glad Justin made me do it I pushed through.

I immediately headed up stairs and enjoyed every last spoonful of my second bowl of oats with protein powder.  I only had a quarter of a scoop of my delicious chocolate left so I had to add in Justin’s vanilla ice cream flavor and it was pretty good.

Oh!  I received my box of Walden Farms BBQ sauces and Italian dressings!  (Here would be a great place to insert a picture of the bottles all lined up, but no energy yesterday means no pictures!) I just took a taste yesterday of the BBQ sauces and they are good.  I’m going to actually eat them with some food today and give them the real test.

My other two meals yesterday were both shrimp stir fry.  Man, that is a good meal!  It’s such a great way to eat tons of veggies!

So, that about sums up my yesterday!  It’s that time of the morning to lace up my running shoes and get outside!  It’s warm enough to run outdoors and I’m taking it! You never know when we are going to get snowed on again around here!

(By the way, this post took forever to write!  I am space-tastic this morning!  Bring on the carbs!)
