This is the one and only picture I took of Justin and I in Arizona! I can’t believe it. I am not sure what is up with the lack of picture taking. I am usually all over the camera! This is us after spending the day at the Phoenix Open Golf Tournament. We both bought fun new visors and I got a a cute t-shirt too!
I kept up with my workouts while on vacation! It was chilly there but a A LOT warmer than here! I ran OUTSIDE! It felt so good! I lifted weights and went to my very first Zumba class with my mother in law. It was so fun!
My diet wasn’t too bad. I didn’t stick exactly to the plan I had in my head, but I didn’t go crazy. Justin’s Dad and Stepmom are healthy eaters so it was pretty easy to make good decisions!
We got home Monday afternoon and I went right back to my meal plan. I had salmon and brussel sprouts for dinner. I was up one pound Tuesday morning, but that was due to water retention, because that is already gone plus two more pounds! Woo hoo! I have officially lost 5 pounds in two weeks!
Yesterday was great! It felt good to be back on my eating and exercising routine.
Workouts:
- Morning Cardio
- 50 minutes on elliptical
- Warehouse (circuit = 5 times)
- Kettlebell Swings
- Pushups with feet on box
- Reverse lunge with knee up with barbell
- Squat rows
- Body weight squats
- Body weight squat jumps
- Jungle gym rows
- Squat jump while throwing medicine ball against wall
- Long jumps/high jumps
- Run 1 mile (at the end for cool down)
- Diana (at home)
- Forward lunges (alternating and stationary)
- Leg curls
- Overhead press
- Lateral raises (slightly bent over)
- Romanian deadlifts
- Weighted, one legged glute raises
- Alternating front/side raises
- Reverse flys
Diet:
Meal #1: Oats with protein. I made my protein with less water and kind of pudding-like. It was sooo yummy! It tasted like a no-bake cookie that isn’t set up. In fact, I may try putting this in the fridge and seeing if I can make them into no bake cookies!

Meal #2: 2 eggs (out of egg whites), 1 slice brown rice toast – FORGOT PICTURE!
Meal #3: Tuna steak, brown rice, brussel sprouts
Meal #4: 2 eggs, 1 slice brown rice toast – FORGOT PICTURE AGAIN!
I snacked on some almonds too. I missed TWO meals yesterday. I feel like I ran out of time in the day. I will get better about this. I have to get all the food in since I am working out so much.
It snowed again last night! I am making my way down to workout with Diana no matter what! I missed all of last week with her due to our blizzard and then going out of town. I am hoping by the time I have to drive downtown this morning, enough people will have driven on the roads to make them clear for me! I HATE driving in the snow!
