Feeling It!

2011January 001-2This morning, I am feeling all the exercise from the past week (and the Chinese food I ate last night).  I think they put something with gluten in the sauce to thicken it because I have that hung-over feeling.  Or maybe that’s just how Chinese food makes everyone feel!  That’s the first meal, since New Orleans, that has been off my diet and not made at home.  I still ate brown rice, chicken, shrimp and veggies, but the Chinese food version!

Yesterday was good, but I was hurtin’!  I spent a lot of the day in bed, watching TV and crocheting.  I felt nauseous, sore, tired and just run down. The girls must have been feeling it too.  Here they are in their bed and Katy has her head buried under the covers!

Yesterday’s exercise looked like this:

30 minutes of morning cardio on the elliptical, then off to the warehouse to workout.  My body was tired.  Every exercise I did seem so hard!  We did 45 seconds of work and 15 seconds of rest, 5 times:

  • Dumb bell punches
  • Mountain climbers
  • Lateral flyes
  • Jumping lunges
  • Plank
  • Jump rope
  • Body weight squats
  • Sprints
  • Stability ball back extensions
  • Ladder exercises

I drank BCAA’s with added glutamine as soon as I got home.  I could not shake the feeling of fatigue so I gave into it and relaxed all day!

My diet looked like this:

Meal #1: Banana and Oats and protein

I participated in the Facebook, homemade post that was going around.  So, I worked on my homemade gifts yesterday. I finished up a large infinity scarf, a small cowl and two regular scarves.  I love them!  So soft and thick!
