I slept in yesterday until 6am. Well, Sara woke me at 3am to go potty, but I went right back to sleep until 6am. I must have needed the rest. I felt great yesterday.
I started the day out on the elliptical, did the usual stuff around the house and then settled in to the recliner for some crocheting.
Sara seems to have stopped chewing on things (shoe strings and blankets, specifically) so I bought some new shoe strings this weekend along with some yarn to make a new blanket. I am three skeins in to an eight skein blanket. It will probably take a week to complete.
Workout
Elliptical: After a 5 minute warm up, I tried to keep my pace at 5mph and then varied the incline and resistance.
Meals
Meal #1: Egg whites and Rudy’s gluten free toast
Meal #2: Gluten free oats with chocolate protein powder and a banana
Meal #3: Chicken breast, roasted broccoli, sweet potato chips (home made)
Meal #4: Chobani Peach and one spoonful of natural peanut butter (about 2 tablespoons)
Meal #5: Chicken breast dipped in mustard and roasted green beans
I ended the day with crocheting while watching The Amazing Race. I am ready to get this week started! Hope you all have a great Monday!
