Good Morning! I am waking slooooow this morning. I woke up early, like usual, but am feeling a little hung-over and sluggish. You’ll see why in the “meals” section!
Yesterday was cloudy and rainy, but I woke up ready to get stuff done. We did some major grocery shopping. I wanted to stock up on lots of good food because it’s getting ready to be that time of the month and I want to have food prepped and easy to grab!
Workout
I started the day off with Title Boxing. For the first time, I took a class not led by Cisco. He’s out with the flu so another guy took over and it was just as good! The energy and intensity was not as high as a Cisco class, but I was a sweaty mess by the end (and sore today) so that’s really all that matters!
Later in the morning, I headed down stairs and knocked out this full body workout:
Meals
Meal #1: Gluten free oats with chocolate protein powder
Meal #2: Rudy’s gluten free toast with natural peanut butter, Chobani peach yogurt
Meal #3: Chipotle (brown rice, black beans, fajita veggies, chicken, tomato salsa and tomatillo salsa, lettuce)
Meal #4: Pretzels (I was cooking soup around this time and didn’t have anything ready to eat)
Meal #5: Home made chicken and vegetable soup. I can’t believe I forgot to take a picture but I’ll get one today because I’ll definitely be eating this again! The soup is chicken, carrots, onion, peas, green beans, and spinach.
Then I ate a piece of cake. Yellow cake with chocolate icing.
And that, my friends, is why I am feeling hung over. Honestly, I didn’t think it would bother me since it was only one piece and I haven’t eaten any gluten since last Tuesday. That piece of cake went to work on my system!
A round of cardio and a lot of water should get me feeling back to normal.
Every month around my T.O.M., I think about a post I read by Healthy Tipping Point about the Diva Cup. I am so curious about it and want to try it but am little afraid of it.
Have any of you heard of it? Used it? Know anyone that uses it?
I've heard of it and I'm afraid of it too. I think it would be good for the environment, but what a mess.
ReplyDeleteI want cake!
Being a sweaty mess is proof you worked hard ;)
