Boost to the Economy

I forgot to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day yesterday!

2012February 038

Since Justin and I both work from home and are basically together 24 hours a day, it’s pretty hard to surprise each other.  Every year, Justin says he has a “meeting” which means he is going to buy me flowers.  I don’t know exactly what he is going to come home with, so it’s still fun!

This year, I decided to have my own “meeting” to attend.  My friend, Tina Quarles, owns a baking business called Little Drops of Heaven

She posted pictures on Monday of some s’mores whoopie pies cut in the shape of hearts.  As soon as I saw them, I wanted to place an order!

So, around 10am, Justin and I both set out for our perspective “meetings”.

When I got home from mine, the above giant below was standing in our kitchen and behind it on the counter was a dozen red roses! LOVED IT!!!

I brought him BBQ and Cookies!

Okay, to be honest, he knew where my meeting was and knew it was by Arthur Bryant’s, so he asked for the beef sandwich, but it walked in the door by me so….Happy Valentine’s Day!

The cookies were so freaking good!  I am cookied out!

We both felt very accomplished and proud of ourselves and even though Valentine’s Day is a silly, made up holiday, Justin said it best, we did our part in stimulating the economy!
