Yesterday was another GAHGEOUS day in Kansas City! It was 50 degrees when I woke up.
I laced up my running shoes, dusted off the ol’ legs and went for a run. I haven’t ran outside in forever. It felt so good.
Until about two miles in and then all the gluten that I have been eating caught up with me. My intestines started cramping up. I came straight home knowing it was only going to get worse. It felt like really bad menstrual cramps. It felt like my intestines were tying themselves in knots. I headed straight to the bathroom…….
Does anyone else ever feel that?
I know better. It’s not the first time. Ugh, whyyyy do I do that to myself?!
I felt better after about 15 minutes, so I leashed up the girls and took them for a super long walk.
I am looking forward to getting back into running. I miss my daily 5 mile run.
We spent a lot of the afternoon outside enjoying the sunshine. I even took a nap outside.
What to-do list?
Meals:
Meal #1: Oats with protein powder, one Cutie
Meal #2: Pork tenderloin, roasted potatoes, steamed broccoli
Meal #3: Gluten free pretzels, one Cutie
Meal #4: Gluten free cereal with dark chocolate almond milk
And some Terra Sweets and Apples
Meal #5: Pork tenderloin, roasted potatoes and steamed broccoli
I am ready to get back to our routine around here!
