Bad Picture Taker

I slept in until 7 o’clock this morning! Whaaaaaaat?!  I must have needed it!  I feel so much better too.  I did a sinus rinse right when I got up and, although I don’t feel 100%, my head and chest feel so much better and I didn’t wake up coughing!  I think that means I am good to go with exercise today!

Yesterday was a fun day.  Our friends, Brad and Sarah, that we visited in Illinois last summer, came into town.

We met them, Brad’s sisters and some friends they brought with them from Illinois for lunch at Pizza Shoppe.  I was a bad blogger and didn’t take any pictures.  It was fun visiting and catching up.  We were not able to get a sitter for last night so Justin brought me home and then headed out to continue hanging out with everyone.

We knew that was going to be the deal so I had already invited my Mom, Stepdad and brother, James, over for dinner.  It was James’s last night in town before heading back to college.

They came over after work and we ordered Chinese food.  Justin got home before they left, so he got to spend time with James too.

I didn’t take any pictures of that event either!

Meal #5: Chinese food – Kung Bao chicken and shrimp, no rice (this is an old picture, there was no broccoli on last’s nights meal)  Evidently, I don’t take pictures when I eat Chinese food (probably out of shame) because this picture is from August!

That 3 o’clock meal (Meal #4) is killing me.  I need to make up a go-to meal for that time of day that I eat every day and don’t even think about it.  I am making poor choices at 3 o’clock these days!  I am tired that time of day too so that doesn’t help my decision making.

Yesterday was such a great day!  I hope you all had a great start to your weekend as well!

  1. Meal #4 gets me too. And usually when I make bad choices for this one, they continue and try to take over Meal #5. :(
    When I was competing, Meal #4 was a protein shake, and nothing more. Now, a lonely little shake doesn't do the trick. Where did my self-control go????
    I like your idea of pre-planning this meal. That would definitely help!!
