4 Days Out

Good Morning! I am feeling so good! Let’s get this show on the road!

I had a great day yesterday!  The sun was out and that always helps my mood, but the main reason I had a great day, was because of all of YOU!  I am just overflowing with gratitude from all the kind words of encouragement.  It helps so, so much!!  I just keep going back and reading them.  I had no idea when I started this blog that it would become such a source of support.  I wish I could give each one of you a great big hug and tell you personally how much you have helped me get through this process!  Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!

Even though the sun was shining yesterday morning, It was a bit chilly out so I retreated to my treadmill.  Plus, I felt like just zoning out and going over things for the show in my head without watching out for cars or other outside interferences.  I’ll probably do that again this morning.  At this point, I think the treadmill is the safest place for me to be.  I’m slightly distracted with my thoughts!

After getting everyone around here up and out of the house and Justin left to go play golf (taking all the almonds in the house and some cashews with him!), I had a few minutes to sit down and thought that would be a good time to print the tickets from Ticketmaster for my Mom and Justin. I started scrolling down through my inbox and I couldn’t find the email!  My heart started racing.  Maybe I already printed them and deleted the email, so I’m frantically looking through piles of paper (and let me tell you, I am a paper piler!), no printed tickets anywhere!  I went to Ticketmaster and typed in the my credit card number and no tickets showed up.  Now, I’m in a full panic!  Did I NOT purchase them?  It was time to head downtown to meet Diana, so I had to rush out the door.  I called Ticketmaster on my way downtown and this time when he asked me for my credit card number I actually pulled out my credit card and read it off the card.  (When I had typed it into the website, I thought I had it memorized, turns out I didn’t!).  He pulled the tickets right up and said he would email them!  Whew!  Crisis over.  I checked my email as soon as I got done with Diana, but there were still no tickets.  What the heck?  I called back down and they mixed two of the letters up in my email address!  I FINALLY got the email for the tickets and printed them right away!  Now I need to make sure they end up in Justin’s hands the night of the show.  DON’T FORGET THE TICKETS, BABE!

My workout with Diana, was a light upper body workout.  It lasted about 30 minutes and then I strapped on my heels and did some posing.  I feel good about it.  HitchFit is so fully of energy (they are the promoters of the show!) so I was buzzing with excitement when I left!

I grabbed something to eat when I got home and then headed up to a salon to get a pedicure and a manicure.  Those are two pretty big tasks for me because I am totally grossed out by both.  I really wanted to ask the girl to scrub everything down in front of me so I could make sure it was all clean, but I refrained.  I decided to not think about germs or that thousands of nasty feet have soaked in that tub before me. Ugh. Yuck.  I have only had one other pedicure in my life and it only happened because a friend surprised me with it (I thought we were going to lunch, she took me to get a pedicure!).  I must say, my feet and calves were thanking me and it didn’t take long to relax and enjoy the experience.  My toes look pretty darn cute!

The manicure was nice as well.  I didn’t get fake nails, I got shelac.  The girl I got wasn’t trained on how to do them in the french manicure, so I just got the clear coat.  They are short, but clean and shiny.  I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get the french manicure, but I’ll have some time on Thursday if I feel the need to get my nails redone.   After my pampering session, I ran over to Victoria’s Secret to see if they had any chicken cutlet breast enhancers to stick in my figure suit.  Unfortunately, they were all out because it’s PROM SEASON!!

While I was there I decided to buy a new bikini for my photo shoot (I feel like hot stuff saying that!) on Friday.  It’s super cute.

By the time I got home, it was time to eat again, do some laundry and dishes and then Justin arrived shortly after.  It felt so good not to have to do another round cardio last night.  I am down to just doing 30-45 minutes in the morning.  I’ll probably just keep running my five miles, but take it nice and easy.  My workouts are just light upper body from here out and those stop on Wednesday.

I succeeded in keeping myself busy yesterday and I felt great all day.  A little hungry at times, but nothing too crazy.  Nothing like Sunday, where I started out feeling good and then ended up feeling crazy!

  7. I didn't even finish reading the sentence before reading the first part over thinking "wow, she's totally carb depleted. She's going to VS for food." hehe I eventually caught on though:-) I'm a redhead now, but I'm really a true blond. Don't forget your bikini bite/skin bond with your chicken cutlets:-) Fredrick's should have them also... they have water ones. Keep rockin' on crouton(less for now).
** sidenote - your husband is way too sweet. Blah (hehe totally kidding)
