15 Days Out

15 days until the show.

14 days until my first photo shoot.

13 more days of weight training.

10 more days of two rounds of cardio.

A L M O S T    T H E R E!

But today is not all about competition training (you can still find my workouts and meals at the bottom!).  There is something even bigger happening today!  My younger sister, Vann, graduates from college!

I am beaming with pride this morning, and I’m sure I’ll be shedding a few tears this afternoon, as I watch her finish what she started.  I have had the privilege of watching her grow up into a confident, driven woman who is creative, kind, loving, giving, driven, curious, sensitive and funny!!  She has found her way on her own since high school, being cautious, taking her time and sometimes taking scary steps that I would never have had the guts to take.  All along the way, knowing what she wanted and fighting to get there.  She took her time and built her foundation in life with hard work and lots of lessons learned. All her hard work is paying off.  She graduates today with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design.  The company she has been working for “temporarily” hired her on full time with a big fat incentives package, and she is marrying her best friend in October.  I am so proud of the woman Vann has become, the life that she has created for herself and I can’t wait to watch and be a part of what comes next!

BUT, back to ME! Winking smile
