Dragging….

My, Oh, My!  I can tell it’s Friday.  I am tired and cranky!  I was practically in tears this morning because I didn’t want to get on the elliptical (Justin made me) and then I didn’t want to go to the warehouse (he made me do that too)!  THANK YOU, JUSTIN! I’m so glad I did all of it!  If you have read previous posts, you know that it is getting to be that time of the month and my hormones are quivering and so are my emotions!

I woke up at 2:45am and was up for all day!   There was no way my day was starting that early.  I laid there and watched TV and finally fell back asleep around 4am.  Both dogs were in our bed last night too, stealing my blankets, so I was cold part of the night!  I woke up at 6am and felt tired and irritated and just BLAH!  I got busy making a list of excuses right away!  Luckily, my husband knows that I feel better with a little sweat on me!

So, he got busy making me do everything I was whining about not wanting to do!

Okay, so backing up to yesterday. It was just okay.  I was pretty tired.  I did A LOT of shoveling with Justin.  Our driveway went from this:

We also did the sidewalks!  (They threaten us with tickets around here for not shoveling the sidewalks!)  We both were pooped and sore the rest of the day!

The Girls came out to play for a bit too!

I counted the shoveling as my cardio for the day and never felt one ounce of guilt for it!

My diet was:

Meal #1: Egg whites, gluten free toast, banana

Meal #2: Chicken, rice noodles and broccoli, carrots, olives with oil/vinegar dressing

Meal #3: Pumpkin seeds, steak, nut thins

Meal #4: Chicken breast with spicy mustard, popcorn (by the way, LOVE the Giada stainless steel bowls I received for Christmas!)

The meals got weirder as the day went on and I got more tired and less willing to cook!  I also wasn’t very hungry.  This feeling will pass.  I just have to keep plugging along and eating and getting my workouts in (even if I have to cry on the way there!)  Luckily, I have a great support person at home that gives me those extra little (gentle) pushes when I need them!

I sure Red heart that man!
